COLORADO EXCURSION(Ages13-15)NEW FOR 2008!

SESSION 2 JUNE 15-28,2008

Ladies and Gentlemen! You asked for it and we planned it!  Campers will spend a few days at camp preparing for a 9-day adventure into the Rocky Mountains.  We will spend a day traveling up one of the most visited mountain in the U.S. –Pikes Peak. If that’s not exciting enough, take a day crossing the highest suspension bridges in the world, The Royal Gorge Bridge.  After a couple of days of high adrenaline, relax a bit by visiting the Garden of the Gods park, and sightseeing Colorado Springs, CO.  Before we head home we will spend two days white water rafting down one of the major rivers in CO.

SESSION 4 JULY 13-26, 2008

River trips explore some of the country's most scenic rivers such as the beautiful Current River in Missouri and the historic Buffalo National River in Arkansas. After pre-trip preparation in team-building, canoeing, kayaking and camping skills, campers depart on a 5-day river adventure. The trip includes at least two full days of paddling and time to discover the natural wonders or attractions of the area. River trip campers will also spend time enjoying traditional camp activities.
